Occupational Therapist School Setting - Renton, WA

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a dynamic school-based role making a lasting impact on elementary students requiring moderate support. This is a contract occupational therapy opportunity within two vibrant Seattle neighborhoods, offering the chance to work on-site while collaborating with dedicated educational teams. Two positions are available: one at 37.5 hours per week covering Fremont and Ballard elementary campuses, and another at 30 hours per week focusing on Laurelhurst and Sandpoint neighborhoods (with the possibility of a third school assignment).

Your expertise and support will empower students to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. You'll enjoy a varied environment, working closely with teachers and families to develop tailored interventions that promote student success.

Qualifications:

• Active Washington Occupational Therapist license (WA OT)
• Valid Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification
• Experience in pediatric or school-based occupational therapy preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Adaptability and organizational skills in a multi-site role
• Commitment to evidence-based, student-centered practice

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and deliver therapy services for elementary students with moderate support needs
• Develop and implement IEP goals in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
• Document progress and maintain compliance with district and state standards
• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and family members to support student progress
• Provide consultation and training for school staff as needed
• Travel between assigned neighborhood schools as scheduled
