Provide compassionate, dedicated care as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) supporting a young student in a dynamic educational environment in the Evanston area. This contract position involves working closely with a fellow CNA to assist a female 4th grader requiring feeding support, toileting assistance with a hoyer lift, and additional general care. When not engaged in one-on-one support, youll contribute as a paraprofessional aiding other students in the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver attentive, individualized care including feeding and toileting assistance using safe transfer equipment.
- Collaborate with another CNA to ensure the students health and well-being throughout the school day.
- Support classroom activities by assisting multiple students with varying needs.
- Maintain professional communication with school staff and adapt to shifting care demands.
- Exhibit reliability and flexibility in scheduling and daily duties.
Qualifications:
- Valid CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) certification.
- Experience working with pediatric or school-aged children preferred.
- Skilled in feeding techniques and safe use of assistive devices such as hoyer lifts.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team supporting student needs.
- Dependable, flexible, and responsive to a structured educational environment.
Schedule:
