This is a full-time on-site role for a Speech-Language Pathologist, located in San Antonio, TX. The Speech-Language Pathologist will work closely with students to assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders. Responsibilities include carrying out therapy sessions, creating individualized treatment plans, collaborating with educators and families, and monitoring progress. The role may also involve providing interventions for swallowing difficulties and supporting students in developing effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in Speech Therapy practices and treatments
- Expertise in working with Speech and Language Disorders
- Experience addressing Dysphagia and other swallowing disorders
- Knowledge of Communication and Language Disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Current licensure or ability to obtain licensure in the state of Texas
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred
- Experience working in school settings is a plus
