Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
- Prepare food items swiftly and according to safety and quality standards, including food handling and sanitation protocols.
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions, and perform cashiering duties with precision and integrity.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales, utilizing effective sales techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, kitchen stations, and food prep zones through bussing, sanitation, and food safety practices.
- Assist with food preparation tasks in the kitchen or café area, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple responsibilities such as food service, cashiering, and food handling efficiently.
Experience
- Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn!
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus.
- Experience in food industry roles such as serving, cashiering, or food preparation will help you hit the ground running.
- Strong time management skills are essential to keep pace during busy hours while maintaining high standards of customer service.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations, sanitation procedures, and basic math for retail math or grocery store tasks will support your success in this role.
