$70,000 to $120,000 base salary aligned with experience, plus benefits, long term progression, and the opportunity to join a growing commercial concrete contractor

Blayze Group is partnering with a growing commercial concrete contractor to appoint an Estimator to support a strong pipeline of commercial projects across the Denver market.

The company delivers concrete, earthwork, utilities, and site development packages across commercial projects, with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and practical project delivery.

The Role

• Prepare accurate estimates for commercial concrete, earthwork, utilities, and sitework packages
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes, addenda, and construction documents to understand project requirements
• Complete takeoffs across dirt, grading, utilities, paving, slabs, foundations, and related concrete scopes
• Build detailed cost estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, and production requirements
• Work closely with project managers, field teams, suppliers, subcontractors, and leadership to validate pricing and scope
• Identify scope gaps, exclusions, clarifications, risks, and value engineering opportunities
• Support bid preparation, proposal development, quantity verification, and subcontractor/vendor pricing
• Maintain strong communication with general contractors, clients, suppliers, and internal teams throughout the bid process
• Track historical pricing, production rates, market trends, and lessons learned to improve estimate accuracy
• Help support a growing estimating function as the company continues to expand across the Denver market

Background Sought

• Experience estimating commercial construction, ideally within concrete, earthwork, utilities, sitework, or civil packages
• Strong understanding of dirt work, grading, underground utilities, paving, slabs, foundations, and commercial concrete scopes
• Ability to read and interpret civil drawings, structural drawings, specifications, and construction documents
• Experience with takeoff and estimating software, with AGTEK experience highly preferred
• Comfortable working with general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, project managers, and field teams
• Strong attention to detail, commercial awareness, and ability to manage multiple bids at once
• Experience with commercial, industrial, warehouse, light industrial, or pre engineered metal building projects would be highly relevant
• Stable career history with a reputable contractor preferred
