🏗️ Multifamily Estimator / Preconstruction Manager

Houston's multifamily market is busy, and we're partnering with a leading General Contractor to hire an experienced Estimator / Preconstruction Manager to join their growing team. Multifamily preconstruction professionals remain in strong demand across Houston as developers continue to advance new apartment projects.
What you'll be doing:
- Lead preconstruction from concept through GMP
- Prepare detailed estimates, take-offs and budgets
- Manage subcontractor pricing, bid packages and buyout
- Value engineer projects to maximize profitability
- Work closely with owners, architects and operations teams
- Support handover to project delivery teams
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience estimating ground-up multifamily projects (garden-style, wrap or podium)
- Strong knowledge of preconstruction, budgeting and value engineering
- Experience with Bluebeam, OST, Procore or similar estimating software
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
