Blayze Group is partnering with a well-established commercial general contractor to appoint a Project Manager to oversee commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
The Role
- Manage commercial construction projects from award through final completion
- Oversee budgets, schedules, contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
- Coordinate closely with Superintendents, Estimators, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors
- Lead project meetings and maintain clear communication across all project stakeholders
- Manage subcontractor performance, procurement, cost control, and project reporting
- Support preconstruction, budgeting, value engineering, and project planning where required
- Identify project risks early and drive solutions to keep work on schedule and within budget
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, professionally, and to the required quality standards
Background Sought
- Experience as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar
- Commercial general contractor experience preferred
- Experience managing commercial projects such as ground-up, interiors, retail, office, healthcare, education, municipal, or mixed commercial work
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, contracts, schedules, budgets, subcontractor scopes, and project controls
- Able to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and project stakeholders
- Strong communication skills with owners, subcontractors, field teams, and internal leadership
- Experience using Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, or similar construction software is beneficial
