Speech Language Pathologist / CFY – Skilled Nursing Facility
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Clinical Fellow (CFY) to join our growing rehabilitation team in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. This position offers the opportunity to work with an interdisciplinary team dedicated to providing high-quality patient-centered care to the geriatric population.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized speech therapy treatment plans
- Treat residents with speech, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders
- Complete timely documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
- Educate residents, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and progress
- Maintain productivity standards while delivering quality clinical care
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Active state SLP license or eligibility
- CFY candidates encouraged to apply; mentorship available
- Skilled Nursing Facility or geriatric experience preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Passion for working with the senior adult population
