We’re seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join a skilled nursing team in Salina, KS. This opportunity is ideal for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who enjoys building meaningful resident relationships while helping patients improve function, increase independence, and enhance quality of life.
What You’ll Do:
• Deliver skilled occupational therapy services under the direction of the Occupational Therapist
• Implement individualized treatment plans focused on activities of daily living, mobility, strength, cognition, and functional independence
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the therapy and interdisciplinary teams
• Complete timely documentation and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Educate residents and families on therapeutic activities and adaptive techniques
• Support discharge planning and continuity of care
• Help create a positive rehab experience that encourages resident success and engagement
What We’re Looking For:
• Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license (or eligible for licensure) in Kansas
• Skilled nursing, rehab, or geriatric experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A patient-first approach and collaborative mindset
• Passion for helping residents reach their highest level of independence as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
