About the role
Blackwatch supports the FBI's enterprise mobile and collaboration platforms within a zero-trust framework, enabling secure communication in both classified and unclassified environments. Our teams provide engineering, deployment, and ongoing support for these services at multiple FBI locations. In this role, you'll work independently on complex assignments that keep enterprise A/V, VTC, and digital signage systems reliable.
What you'll do
- Set up, adjust, and operate complex A/V equipment in classified and unclassified environments.
- Design, install, operate, and maintain advanced audiovisual and VTC systems.
- Program and maintain systems using multiple specialized software tools.
- Record and photograph activities, ensuring quality and security compliance.
- Administer the digital signage platform: users, permissions, devices, playlists, schedules, and content.
- Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot signage players and displays, remotely or onsite.
- Evaluate new equipment and software, and work with engineers to deploy enhancements.
- Keep accurate device and site inventories, and document procedures, configurations, incidents, and fixes.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field [Check: if the contract labor category allows, change to 'Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience']
- 5 years of A/V technical experience (certifications or prior work may substitute)
- Expertise with multiple audio/video technologies and applications
- Experience administering a digital signage management platform or CMS
- Networking fundamentals: IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, Wi-Fi/Ethernet, and connectivity troubleshooting
- Strong computer skills, including Windows and web-based administration tools
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple requests independently
- Active Top Secret clearance with a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph
- US citizenship
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with 22Miles CMS, Content Manager, or related 22Miles products
- Basic understanding of HTML, images, video formats, and digital media
