About the role
Blackwatch supports the FBI's enterprise mobile and collaboration platforms within a zero-trust framework, enabling secure communication in both classified and unclassified environments. Our teams provide engineering, deployment, and ongoing support for these services at multiple FBI locations. Our Unified Communications engineers own complex assignments and work independently to keep communications services reliable.
What you'll do
- Plan, design, configure, integrate, and maintain large-scale Unified Communications networks.
- Make sure UC systems integrate smoothly with FBI enterprise computing environments.
- Analyze network performance, traffic flows, and transmission techniques.
- Propose and implement design and configuration improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Work with cross-functional teams to keep communications services reliable.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field [Check: if the contract labor category allows, change to 'Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent experience']
- 5 years of Unified Communications engineering or telecom experience (certifications or prior work may substitute)
- Strong proficiency with multiple audio and video communication technologies
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and customer interaction skills
- Ability to work independently on complex assignments
- Active Top Secret clearance with a Counterintelligence (CI) polygraph
- US citizenship

- Experience analyzing network performance and traffic flows in large enterprise environments
