Sales Estimator – Industrial Coatings | Outside Sales & Estimating
Job Summary
We are hiring a Sales Estimator in the Sheboygan area to drive new business, manage key accounts, and prepare accurate estimates for industrial projects. This is a hybrid role (sales estimating account management) ideal for candidates with cold-calling experience and strong technical aptitude.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business through cold calling, email outreach, and networking
- Manage and grow existing customer accounts
- Perform job site take-offs (measurements, prep methods, coatings selection)
- Prepare estimates, bids, and proposals
- Coordinate materials, equipment, and job instructions for crews
- Work with vendors on pricing and product specifications
- Follow up with customers after project completion
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Cold-calling / business development experience required
- Estimating experience (industrial, construction, or coatings preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical products
- Valid driver's license
- Comfortable working in industrial / field environments
- Stable work history and strong relationship-building skills
Work Environment & Schedule
- Hours: 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM (flexibility required)
- Split: 70% office / 30% field
- Focus: 50% new business development / 50% account management
