We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Maintenance Planner to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability, minimize downtime, and ensure smooth production flow.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate all preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime
- Develop and maintain preventive maintenance (PM) programs based on equipment performance and operational needs
- Create, prioritize, and manage work orders in alignment with production schedules
- Collaborate with maintenance technicians, engineers, and production teams to ensure efficient execution of maintenance tasks
- Manage maintenance parts inventory, including tracking, sourcing, ordering, and staging materials for upcoming work
- Monitor equipment performance and support initiatives to improve reliability and reduce downtime
- Adjust maintenance schedules in response to urgent or emergency repair needs
- Maintain accurate records using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Support training and guidance on maintenance planning processes and systems
- Identify opportunities to improve maintenance planning, scheduling, and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance, facilities maintenance, or industrial maintenance environments
- Strong experience using CMMS systems (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo, Fiix, or similar)
- Proven experience building or improving preventive maintenance programs (not just executing PM tasks)
- Experience scheduling maintenance activities in a production or manufacturing environment
- Strong background in maintenance planning, work order management, and equipment reliability
- Experience with inventory control, spare parts management, or procurement coordination
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, industrial production, or high-volume operations
- Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) principles
- Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives
