Service Technician – Injection Molding Machines | Field Service (Nationwide Travel)
Location: On the road (50–80% travel)
Pay: $25–$30/hr OT
Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x8, Nights/Weekends as needed

About the Role
We provide high-precision injection molding machines and exceptional hands-on service to clients nationwide. As a Service Technician, you'll travel to customer sites, install and maintain machines, troubleshoot issues, provide technical training, and support sales and project teams.
This role is ideal for experienced field service technicians with a strong background in injection molding, plastics, and machine maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform machine installations, start-ups, repairs, preventive maintenance, and upgrades
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical/controls issues on-site
- Conduct production trials and optimize machine performance
- Deliver technical training to customers and internal teams
- Manage CRM data and service logs (MS Dynamics 365)
- Assist with spare parts inventory, ordering, and technical documentation
- Liaise with international OEM teams (China, Europe, India)
Requirements
- 3 years of experience in injection molding / plastics industry (technical or field service preferred)
- Hands-on experience with machine installation, start-up, troubleshooting, and maintenance
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical/servo systems
- Excellent customer communication and training skills
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to travel nationwide
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems (Dynamics 365 preferred)
