Job Summary:
We are hiring a skilled Industrial Mechanic / Maintenance Technician to join our team in Dover, NJ. This is a hands-on role focused on industrial machinery repair, hydraulic systems, and TIG welding. Ideal candidates have strong troubleshooting skills and experience with gearboxes, bearings, and mechanical assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment
- Assemble, rebuild, and align gearboxes, shafts, motors, and bearings
- Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems and presses
- Fabricate parts using TIG & Fusion welding
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints
- Conduct inspections to ensure equipment efficiency and safety
- Complete field service visits to customer sites as needed
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience as an Industrial Mechanic / Machine Mechanic
- Strong skills in hydraulics (assembly & troubleshooting required)
- TIG & Fusion welding experience (certification preferred)
- Experience with machining, grinding, and polishing metals
- Knowledge of bearing replacement, seals, and gearbox repair
- Basic electrical wiring (motors, switches) is a plus
- Valid driver's license required
