Responsibilities
- Manage and deliver land development projects including stormwater management, grading, water/sanitary sewer, and erosion/sediment control design
- Lead project planning, scheduling, and execution to meet deadlines and budgets
- Oversee quality control and ensure compliance with regulatory agency requirements
- Prepare proposals, scopes, budgets, and manage project financials (invoices, receivables)
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, while pursuing new business opportunities
- Mentor, hire, and train new staff to grow a high-performing civil/site development team
- Provide oversight and guidance on permitting and construction activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (required)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 10 years of site design experience in land development
- Expertise in stormwater management, hydraulics, hydrologic analysis, grading, and site development
- Proficiency with AutoCAD (Civil 3D experience preferred)
- Knowledge of city, county, and state land use processes and regulations (NC experience preferred)
- Strong leadership, client management, and financial management skills
