The Senior Electrical Engineer will lead the design and optimization of electrical systems supporting critical infrastructure – pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and optimize electrical systems and power distribution for critical infrastructure.
- Integrate technologies like automation, monitoring, and energy storage.
- Implement safety measures including arc flash mitigation and fault detection.
- Provide expertise in schematics, layouts, and upgrades.
- Manage projects from concept to completion, aligning with business goals and budgets.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
Requirements
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering or similar
- PE license
- 8 years of experience in natural gas, power generation or similar
- Experience with arc flash studies, PLCs, SCADA, instrumentation systems, and HMI
- Project management and Pre-FEED/FEED/EPC experience is preferred
- Proficiency in electrical design codes (NEC, NEMA, API, IEEE)
- Ability to travel within the U.S. and internationally
