Description
Oversee a team of engineers and designers working on state-of-the-art facilities in industries like industrial, manufacturing, oil & gas, real estate, solid waste, power, and commercial.
Responsibilities
- Manage and mentor mechanical engineers and designers
- Oversee HVAC, piping, and fire protection system design
- Serve as the department’s primary point of contact
- Drive department operations, staffing, scheduling, and resource planning
- Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards
- Act as Senior Engineer/Project Lead on select projects
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or similar required
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) License REQUIRED
- 10 years of mechanical/piping engineering experience
- Proven leadership in managing engineering/design teams
- Strong knowledge of ANSI, ASME, IBC, ISO, NFPA
- Familiarity with Pipe-Flo, Caesar II, and Trane 3D Plus
- Project management and Revit/AutoCAD/Navisworks experience is a plus
