Pay & Shift
- $24.00–$32.00/hour based on experience
- PLUS 15% shift differential
- Top rate with differential: $36.80/hour
- Overtime opportunities available
- Full-time, 2nd shift
- Contract-to-hire opportunity
- MIG weld structural steel components and fabricated assemblies
- Fabricate frames, I-beams, tanks, enclosures, and other welded components
- Read and work from blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Measure, fit, and prepare materials for welding and assembly
- Set up welding equipment for production and fabrication
- Use grinders, sanders, and hand tools to prepare materials and finish welds
- Inspect completed welds for quality and make repairs or rework as needed
- Assist with pressure testing and final product inspections
- Maintain welding equipment and an organized work area
- Follow established safety and quality procedures
- Previous welding experience in manufacturing, structural steel, or fabrication
- Strong MIG welding skills required
- Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings
- Experience fitting and welding structural components
- Strong measuring, layout, and basic math skills
- Ability to safely operate welding and fabrication equipment
- TIG experience is a plus
- Vocational welding training or welding certifications are preferred
