Responsibilities
- Develop and manage startup and commissioning plans for power plant systems.
- Lead system integration testing to ensure seamless functionality across turbines, generators, controls, and auxiliary systems.
- Coordinate with construction and operations teams to complete pre-commissioning, startup, and turnover activities.
- Manage and resolve punch list items to ensure quality and readiness for handover.
- Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and validation to verify compliance with project requirements.
- Provide technical leadership during commissioning, energization, and performance testing phases.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, or Power Engineering, or related discipline.
- 5–12 years of experience in commissioning or startup engineering within power generation, energy infrastructure, or large industrial projects.
- Proven experience with system integration, startup planning, and field troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of turbines, generators, auxiliary equipment, and control systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance (NERC, FERC, PJM) and industry codes/standards.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, field-oriented environment.
- Willingness to travel and work onsite for extended project durations.
