What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN - Cardiovascular II position at Black Women's Mental Health Institute?
This role requires critical thinking, effective communication, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in a high-stress environment.
Candidates must have at least one year of cardiovascular and/or intensive care experience.
Additional certifications include an ONCC Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Certificate for nurses administering chemotherapy, and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) for ICU, ED, PACU, Endo, Tele, OB, MHN Pre-Op, and Specialty Procedural areas.
Pediatric areas require PALS, with a 30-day window for non-pediatric nurses to obtain certification.
Fetal Monitoring certification is needed for L&D nurses, obtainable within 30 days if applicable.
Newly licensed RNs have six months to acquire ACLS, PALS, and Fetal Monitoring certifications.
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
