- Qualifications:** Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA/CSTFA) or Surgical Assistant-Certified (SA-C), with accredited training or significant surgical assistant experience. CST certification is preferred. Must obtain and maintain registration as an Unlicensed Assistive Person (UAP).
- Skills and Requirements:** Effective communication, teamwork, manual dexterity, attention to detail, and ability to work in high-pressure environments. Physical stamina for prolonged standing, moving equipment, and assisting with patient transfers.
- Work Environment:** High-acuity surgical setting with exposure to bodily fluids, sharps, and chemicals, requiring strict adherence to sterile and safety protocols.
