- Provide advanced medical care using equipment like defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen, suction devices, and IV fluids.
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families to offer reassurance and information.
- Act as team leader at scenes and manage units as needed.
- Drive ambulance during emergency responses.
- Collaborate professionally with healthcare and public safety personnel.
- Participate in community programs to enhance community relations and uphold the organization's image.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Hawaii State Paramedic License and Driver’s License.
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NREMT-Paramedic.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass physical agility test.
- Preferably healthcare-related work experience.
