The Behavior Analyst (BCBA) develops and supervises behavior intervention plans and programs for children with autism, based on medical necessity. They assess, monitor, and evaluate learners using tools like ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, and others, creating individualized goals for various settings, including center-based, community, in-home, and telehealth. They provide direct therapy, conduct parent trainings, and oversee program implementation. The role includes supervising staff, participating in meetings, and supporting staff development through training and performance reviews. Qualifications: Master’s in a related field (preferably Applied Behavior Analysis), BCBA certification, Michigan licensure, with experience working with youth with autism and supervised hours as a BCaBA or trainee.
