Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Attic Blower Insulation Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing attic insulation using blower equipment, ensuring energy efficiency and proper insulation standards. This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively on residential or commercial sites. Prior experience with various construction techniques and tools is highly valued to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate attic blower insulation equipment to install insulation efficiently and safely.
- Prepare work areas by clearing debris and setting up necessary safety measures.
- Measure and assess attic spaces to determine appropriate insulation quantities.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to facilitate installation tasks.
- Follow blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to ensure accurate installation.
- Assist with related construction tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, or framing as needed.
- Maintain a clean work environment and ensure all safety standards are met throughout the project.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within scope.
- Conduct inspections of completed work to verify quality and adherence to specifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site work, including insulation installation preferred.
- Knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and schematics is a plus.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, HVAC systems, roofing, masonry, and other related trades such as plastering or stucco is advantageous.
- Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication, metal stud framing, or concrete finishing is beneficial.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined or elevated spaces such as attics.
- Prior experience with airless paint spraying or other specialized finishing techniques is a bonus.
- Valid driver's license preferred for site access and material transportation.
