Insulation Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Insulation Installer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have experience working on various construction sites, with a strong understanding of insulation installation techniques. This role involves working on commercial and residential projects, ensuring proper insulation to meet building codes and energy efficiency standards. Candidates should possess a solid foundation in construction methods and be capable of reading blueprints and schematics. The position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a wide range of hand tools, power tools, and construction skills.

Duties

• Measure, cut, and install insulation materials in walls, attics, ceilings, and floors using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine insulation specifications.
• Prepare work areas by cleaning surfaces, framing openings, and ensuring proper access for installation.
• Apply caulking, trim carpentry, or stucco finishing as required for seamless insulation integration.
• Follow safety protocols on-site to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
• Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction site work, including insulation installation or related trades such as carpentry or roofing.
• Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., saws, hammers) and power tools (e.g., drills, spray equipment).
• Knowledge of plastering, metal stud framing, concrete finishing, masonry, HVAC systems, and airless paint spraying is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude with fabrication skills beneficial for custom installation tasks.
• Ability to read technical schematics and understand construction plans accurately.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions; capable of lifting heavy materials safely.
• Prior experience in construction painting or stucco application is advantageous but not required. This position offers an engaging environment where skilled professionals can grow their expertise while contributing to high-quality building projects.
