What are the responsibilities and job description for the FAI Inspector position at Black Diamond Networks?
REALLY need is experience filling out or working with AS9102 Form 3, 3D model validation using Catia or other 3D modelling software and evaluating and validating ballooned drawings.
Title: FAI Inspector
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Length: 6-12 Months - will an option to convert perm at the end of the contract
Start Date: ASAP
Project Overview: The team is supporting a major aircraft certification effort with the FAA, focusing on comprehensive inspection and documentation of all components.
REAL need is experience filling out or working with AS9102 Form 3, 3D model validation using Catia or other 3D modelling software and evaluating and validating ballooned drawings
Skills:
- Extensive First Article Inspection (FAI) experience in accordance with AS9102 and AS9100 standards
- Proven ability to inspect and document complex, tight-tolerance aerospace components
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes
- Familiar with aerospace quality systems, MRB, and non-conformance documentation
- Proficiency with Net-Inspect or similar digital FAI documentation tools (plus)
- Experience with composite structures and materials (plus)
