What You'll Do:
- Inspect construction sites to identify potential design issues and verify work meets approved specifications.
- Review public infrastructure improvements, including streets, water systems, sewer, storm drain, and related construction.
- Communicate with contractors to help resolve construction concerns and determine appropriate corrective action.
- Keep supervisors, project managers, departments, and public agencies informed of conflicts or project concerns.
- Compile as-built information, project records, punch lists, and other documentation needed to complete projects.
- Use GPS survey equipment to conduct land, utility, and infrastructure surveys.
Who You Are:
- You have a high school diploma or G.E.D.
- You bring four years of related experience in construction, inspection, survey, or similar work.
- You have a valid Utah Class D Driver License.
- You can operate a personal computer and Microsoft products.
- You are able to communicate effectively, estimate materials, interpret plans, and maintain professional working relationships.
