Role Summary:
The Talent & Recruiting Partner is responsible for end-to-end recruiting and supporting critical HR onboarding and pre-employment processes. This role plays a key part in building BDC’s team by identifying, engaging, and closing high-quality candidates who align with our values, culture, and performance expectations.
This position requires urgency, accountability, and strong judgment. The Talent & Recruiting Partner must be proactive, highly organized, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where follow-through and communication are non-negotiable.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
Recruiting & Talent Acquisition
- Own recruiting for hourly, salaried, and leadership roles across departments
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, performance expectations, and cultural fit
- Proactively source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, and direct outreach
- Screen candidates for skills, motivation, accountability, and alignment with BDC’s core values
- Coordinate and schedule interviews; collect feedback and drive timely hiring decisions
- Manage the offer process, including verbal offers, written offers, and follow-up
- Maintain clear, consistent, and professional communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
- Track recruiting activity, candidate status, and pipeline metrics
Onboarding & HR Operations Support
- Coordinate pre-employment steps, including background checks, paperwork, and start dates
- Ensure all onboarding documentation is completed accurately and on time
- Support new hire orientation and first-day readiness
- Maintain organized and accurate employee records
- Partner with the HR Operations Manager to improve recruiting and onboarding workflows
Process Improvement & Cross-Functional Support
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting efficiency, candidate quality, and time-to-fill
- Assist with employer branding and job posting optimization
- Support HR initiatives and projects as assigned
- Uphold confidentiality and compliance in all HR-related activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field preferred
- 2 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or HR support
- Experience managing multiple open roles simultaneously
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and follow-through
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to operate with urgency and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
