What are the responsibilities and job description for the Alumni Ambassador (Student) position at BJU, Inc.?
POSITION SUMMARY: Alumni Ambassadors use phone calls to build positive relationships with BJU alumni by inviting alumni to special events, thanking them for donations, fundraising, and seeking to help BJU serve them in a greater capacity.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Make phone calls
- Thank You calls for those financially supporting BJU
- Invitation calls to special events
- Fundraising calls for BJU giving opportunities including athletics and scholarships
- Invite them to homecoming events
- Assist with office tasks including donation thank you letters.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of modern office practices and procedures and an ability to maintain a high level of accuracy
- Dependable, motivated and enthusiastic character
- Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be a Bob Jones University or Bob Jones Academy student
