This is a full-time, on-site role based in Adrian, MI, for a Child Care Director. The Child Care Director will oversee daily operations of the childcare center, ensuring compliance with regulations and providing a safe, engaging environment for children. Responsibilities include designing and implementing educational programs, supervising and mentoring staff, managing budgets, and fostering strong communication with parents and guardians. The role also focuses on improving the overall quality of care to promote the cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
- Strong expertise in Childcare and Early Childhood Development, with the ability to create and implement age-appropriate learning programs.
- Demonstrated Communication skills to effectively interact with staff, parents, and children.
- Background in Education and experience in curriculum planning and execution.
- Customer Service skills for building relationships with families and addressing their concerns or needs professionally and empathetically.
- Leadership and organizational skills to effectively manage staff, operations, and a safe learning environment.
- Familiarity with state regulations and licensing standards related to child care facilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in a leadership role within a child care or educational setting is a plus.
