What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant – Flexible Schedule | Integrative Medicine position at Birmingham Health?
We're looking for someone we can invest in who will invest back into our team.
If you enjoy healthcare but are ready for something different from the traditional hospital or medical office, we'd like to meet you.
Birmingham Health is a small, growing healthcare practice bringing together hormone therapy, regenerative and wellness care, chiropractic, and physical rehabilitation.
We're looking for someone who is motivated, dependable, willing to learn, and takes pride in helping patients and being someone their team can count on.
We'll invest in teaching you our systems, helping you develop new skills, giving you direct access to our doctors and owner, and providing flexibility when we can. As you earn trust and demonstrate what you can do, there are opportunities to take on more.
In return, we're looking for someone who shows up, communicates, follows through, takes pride in their work, and wants to keep getting better.
You don't have to know everything we do when you arrive. We're willing to teach the right person.

What It's Like to Work Here
We're a small team, so your contribution matters.
We believe in good training, clear expectations, direct communication, and giving people the opportunity to become really good at what they do.
You'll receive feedback and direction along the way. That's part of how we train, improve, and provide consistent care to our patients.
We're not looking for perfection. We're looking for someone who is dependable, teachable, communicative, and willing to take ownership of their role.
If you like being busy, enjoy learning, take pride in doing things well, and appreciate knowing that your work matters to the people around you, you'll probably enjoy working here.
A Good Fit Here Looks Like...
We believe the grass gets greener where you water it. We're looking for someone who wants to find a good place, invest in it, help make it better, and grow with it.
That goes both ways.
Our responsibility is to invest in our people, provide good training and clear expectations, listen when something isn't working, and create an environment worth investing back into.
Your responsibility is to show up, communicate, follow through, be someone your team can depend on, and take pride in getting better at what you do.
We don't expect perfection. Mistakes happen. What matters is being willing to own them, learn from them, and do better the next time.
And when something isn't working, we'd rather you bring it to the table so we can work through it than let frustration quietly build.
We're not just looking for someone who needs their next job. We'd like to find someone who wants to become a trusted and valued part of what we're building.
