Birmingham Health is seeking an Alabama-licensed physician for a flexible, part-time collaborating physician opportunity supporting our Nurse Practitioner and growing medical program.
This is ideal for a fellow, early-career physician, or young physician looking for additional income and experience outside of a traditional hospital setting.
Our services include Workers’ Compensation injuries, musculoskeletal care, medical weight loss, hormone optimization.
The Opportunity
Start with a very limited time commitment and grow with the practice.
Compensation Path:$500 → $750 → $1,000 → $1,500 → $2,000/month
As our medical program grows, so can your responsibilities, compensation, and opportunity for physician leadership.
Responsibilities
- NP collaboration and required oversight
- Periodic chart/quality review
- Clinical consultation when needed
- Required meetings/site visits
- Support clinical protocols and quality assurance
No routine patient schedule is required. Additional physician clinical work can be compensated separately.
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Current unrestricted Alabama medical license
- Eligible for applicable Alabama collaborative-practice requirements
- Reliable, responsive, and interested in growing with the practice
Physicians currently completing fellowship and early-career physicians are encouraged to apply.
