Title One Teacher

Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans with differentiated instruction to meet each student's individual needs
• Provide specialized instruction and support to help students achieve academic and social goals
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing learning environment
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
  
  

Skills

• Proven experience as a Title I Teacher
• Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and educational methodology
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Excellent communication and instructional skills
• Ability to act as mediator between children
• Cool-tempered, friendly, reliable, and adaptable
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education (or related field)
• Valid state (OH) teaching certification/license in appropriate content area
• Prior experience working with students with special needs is preferred
• Strong knowledge of laws and regulations
