Position Details
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- School Year: August 3, 2026 – May 27, 2027
- Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, 1 day work-from-home
- Itinerant position serving 3 schools
- Working with students in Kindergarten through 12th grade
- Approximate caseload of 50 students
- Collaborate with administrators, teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student achievement and well-being
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and assessments.
- Interpret assessment results and prepare detailed evaluation reports.
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Provide consultation to teachers, administrators, and families regarding academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions.
- Assist in developing Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as needed.
- Support crisis intervention, prevention, and school-based mental health initiatives.
- Collaborate with school staff to promote positive learning environments and student success.
- Maintain accurate documentation while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and district regulations.
- Master's, Specialist (Ed.S.), or Doctoral degree in School Psychology.
- Valid South Carolina School Psychologist certification or eligibility for certification.
- Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong assessment, report writing, communication, and consultation skills.
- Ability to manage an itinerant schedule and collaborate effectively across multiple school sites.
