Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Data Quality / Governance Analyst to support a major enterprise data initiative within the Office of the Chief Data & Analytics Officer (CDAO). This role will focus on identifying, defining, and operationalizing data quality rules to strengthen enterprise data governance and improve the reliability of critical data assets.
The ideal consultant brings strong expertise in data quality management and rule development, with the ability to partner across business and technology stakeholders. Experience with the Collibra Data Quality platform is highly desirable, as the role may involve configuring and implementing rules directly within the tool.
This is a high-impact opportunity to help mature enterprise data quality capabilities and support the transition of data quality ownership into the CDAO organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner closely with the CDAO and data leadership to identify critical data quality rules and standards across key domains.
- Define, document, and maintain data quality rules aligned with enterprise data governance frameworks.
- Configure and implement data quality rules within Collibra Data Quality (DQ) (preferred).
- Support the transition of data quality processes and ownership from operational support teams into the CDAO function.
- Collaborate across data, technology, and business teams to improve data intelligence and ensure high-quality data outputs.
- Contribute to the development of sustainable data quality practices, controls, and monitoring approaches.
Desired Background & Experience:
- 5 years of experience in data quality, data governance, or data intelligence roles.
- Strong understanding of data quality concepts, rule definition, and rule development methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with data quality tooling; Collibra Data Quality experience strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise data or governance initiatives.
- Financial services domain experience preferred (e.g., asset management, banking, or capital markets).
- Background at leading financial institutions (e.g., BlackRock, Blackstone, or similar) is a plus.
**The base salary range for this role is $120,000 - $160,000**
