This is a 1st shift position Monday-Friday 5a-1:30p hours. This position is responsible for ensuring products are weighed in accordance with FDA regulatory requirements as well as company procedures and policies.

Work Requirements and Skills
This is a 1st shift position Monday-Friday 5a-1:30p hours. This position is responsible for ensuring products are weighed in accordance with FDA regulatory requirements as well as company procedures and policies.

- Clean and prep weighing room with necessary measuring equipment and measuring utensils (scales, scoops, containers, various sized poly-lined type bags)
- Power-up the analytical and floor scales to check functionality by scales performing their internal checks
- Check that the room and equipment logs have been verified for use by a member of the Quality Assurance team
- Verify staged raw materials meet the batch record ingredients list on the batch record with the material name, code, system lot
- Weigh each raw material according to batch record unit of measure into clean/sanitized poly-lined containers
- Alert the Warehouse-Weighing-Processing Lead of discrepancies resulting from weighing
- After all ingredients have been weighed, verify that the net sum of the containers is equal to the net weight on the batch record
- Verify that the appropriate sections of production batch records are documented (perform by and verified by)
- Document the weighed product container information on a move transaction sheet
- Deliver the completed weighed product to the warehouse for verification
- Close out room and equipment logs accordingly
Work Requirements and Skills
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English to perform necessary duties.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) is required for this position
- Previous or similar work experience is preferred, but not required
- Must demonstrates flexibility when re-prioritization is necessary
- Able to do calculations and conversions in both metric and imperial unit of measures
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced team environment
- Must be able to work overtime when the company deems it necessary
- Ability to lift (up to 50-lbs), stand, walk, bend, crouch, reach, stretch, step, climb occasionally during the duration of the shift
