Job Description

Work collaboratively with technology and business groups to conceive, design, engineer, and implement data, software, and technology solutions that solve significant scientific or business problems. Investigate,identify, and implementstate-of-the-arttechnology platforms that drive productivity and efficiency gains inownfunction and throughout multiple business areas. Contribute to advancement of technology in area of expertise. Develop productive collaborations and communications with other groups across multiple disciplines.Technology Engineers will be aligned to a specific area: Information, Software, Data, orInfrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Conceive, design, engineer, and implement data, software, or technology solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problemareas; Routinelydemonstrateinitiative and creativity in developing technology solutions.
• Serve as technical expert orleadprojects/programs and technical staff to develop,testand implement significant new products, or operational improvements or devisenew approachesto problems at the division/business unit.
• Analyze and resolve technical problems using analyticalproblem-solvingmethods/techniques and associated tools/devices.
• Contribute to advancement of own function by studyingstate-of-the-arttools, techniques, and computing equipment;participatein educational opportunities and professional organizations.
• Demonstratehighproficiencyacross a wide range of technologies and platforms related to software design and development, programming languages, data integration, data warehousing, data analysis and visualization tools, data storage, network connectivity, and virtualization/cloud environments.
• Highly autonomous and productive in performing activities,requiring onlyminimal direction from or interaction with supervisor. Accountable for total project scope, budget, completion within budget constraints and scheduled completion date. Accountable for successful andtimelycompletion of all tasks/projects under direct and matrix control.
• Mayinitiatenew areas of investigation that are meaningful, reliable, and can be incorporated directly into a scientific or business activity.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor and consult with less experiencedstaff inin planning, methods, procedures,standards,and best practices.
• Maintainrelationships with affiliates, subsidiaries, and vendorsin accordance withAbbVieValues, Vendor Management Office, andPurchasing tofurther the mission,vision,and goals of the organization.
• Understand and adhere to corporate standardsregardingapplicable Corporate and Divisional Policies, including code of conduct, safety,GxPcompliance, data security, and the software development lifecycle.
  
  
  

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelors Degree with 6 years experience;Masters Degreewith 5 years experience; PhD with 0 years experience.
• Demonstratedexpertisewith Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven Apps), Power Automate Cloud Flows, and Dataverse.
• Demonstrated experience supporting, configuring and administering Microsoft Power Platform in a large enterprise environment.
• Proven implementation of PowerApps and Power Automate Solutions thatadvancedbusiness processes.
• Hands-on experience implementing and administering Managed Environments.
• Strong understanding of Power Platform governance, tenant administration, environment strategy, and operational support.
• Experience designing and implementing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and connector governance frameworks.
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio design, deployment, governance, and operational support.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.

• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900)
• Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400)
• 5 years of experience supporting and administering Microsoft Power Platform in a large enterprise environment.
