Manager, Material & Supplier Quality

Our Material & Supplier Quality Assurance team is hiring a Manager to lead a team that ensures supplier change notifications are effectively managed, communicated, and implemented while maintaining compliance and product quality standards. This role will be based at our IOPS Rensselaer site, providing global support for team initiatives and overseeing the daily activities of a team of QA Specialists.

In this role, a typical day might include the following:

• Lead supplier change notification processes, ensuring timely communication, escalation, and compliance.
• Manage and mentor a team responsible for tracking and implementing supplier change notifications, including:
• Ensuring team members follow established workflows and timelines for change management.
• Conducting regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to:
• Review and approve proposed supplier changes and assess their impact on product quality.
• Perform compliance monitoring of area operations, including trending of failures and evaluating effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Prepare and complete action plans; implementing productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
• Drive continuous improvement in change management processes by:
• Identifying bottlenecks and inefficiencies in current workflows.
• Implementing solutions to enhance productivity and compliance.

• You have experience partnering with suppliers and vendors of materials and/or components.

To be considered for this role, you must hold a Bachelors degree in scientific subject area or related field and the following years of experience for each level:

• Associate Manager: 6 years
