- Lead part qualification activities by driving the qualification process, evaluating and validating supplier manufacturing processes to ensure high efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with required design and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate internally and externally with cross-functional teams and suppliers to resolve issues.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, and production teams for specific new parts, sourcing, and overall quality control of materials and finished goods.
- Work with suppliers to improve quality system requirements and manufacturing processes.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance using defined KPIs, address performance concerns with suppliers, driving accountability, and facilitating corrective actions to achieve continuous performance improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Automotive/Industrial or related engineering discipline
- 8–12 years of experience in Supplier Quality or Manufacturing Quality Engineering or related (manufacturing and production industry)
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, MSA, SPC, NCR, 8D, CAPA)
- Experience with manufacturing and production processes and engineering practices
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, and Quality Management Systems (QMS)
