Your impact
- Own line setup: translate drawings, plans, and work orders into the right tooling and configuration.
- Keep equipment humming: monitor conditions, adjust parameters, and troubleshoot issues quickly.
- Deliver quality: perform in-process checks and guide corrections to maintain consistency.
- Maximize flow: manage materials, coordinate with multifunctional teams, and follow the production schedule.
- Communicate fast: respond to shutdowns promptly and update teammates with clear information.
- Collaborate: work with maintenance to expedite repairs and with engineers/managers to build and refine SOCs and SOPs.
- Continuously improve: spot process efficiencies to reduce downtime and waste.
- Document rigorously: record production data, quality results, maintenance, and downtime events.
- Lead with safety: follow all regulations and policies; report injuries, accidents, first aid, and hazards; help identify and eliminate security risks.
- Flex as needed: responsibilities may shift based on leadership direction.
About you
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or related training preferred.
- 3 years as an Extrusion Operator with hands-on process expertise; Davis Standard experience is advantageous.
- Deep understanding of extrusion equipment, configurations, and key parameters.
- Comfortable with basic computer-based data entry, monitoring, and communication.

- Reports to: Supervisor
- Shift Schedule: Second Shift 6pm-6:30am Mon–Weds, 6pm–10:30pm Thurs
- Location: Fredericksburg plant on Jamison Lane
Physical Requirements: This position may require frequent bending, lifting, and moving objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Employees should be able to perform this duty with or without reasonable accommodations.
