Workers’ Compensation Attorney
licensed to practice in Iowa to join our growing team. We are looking for a motivated
attorney with a client first mentality who is passionate about advocating for injured
workers and values working in a collaborative, team oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Manage workers’ compensation cases from intake through resolution
Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and proceedings before the Iowa
Workers’ Compensation Commission
Communicate regularly and compassionately with clients regarding case
progress and expectations
Prepare and file pleadings, motions, and supporting legal documents
Evaluate claims, negotiate settlements, and develop effective case strategies
Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to deliver high quality
representation
Ensure compliance with all ethical, legal, and professional standards
Qualifications
Active license to practice law in the State of Iowa (required)
Experience with workers’ compensation law preferred
Strong advocacy, negotiation, and case management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Client focused approach with strong attention to detail
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
