Investigates and processes workers’ compensation claims involving medical care.
Under the direction of the Claims Manager, the Workers Compensation Claims Representative is responsible for determining compensability of medical only claims per Iowa law and managing the claim start to finish including, setting the reserve levels, implementing appropriate benefits for the injured workers and resolving issues on the claims. Excellent customer service is required for this position. Effective communication skills, both oral and written, is a must. Starting salary dependent on education and experience. This is hybrid position based in Des Moines Iowa and requires 2 days per week in office and must reside in Central Iowa. Non-smoking office. EOE.
Salary : $45,000 - $52,500
