Inside Sales Representative
About the Role
We are an established wholesale sporting goods distributor seeking a motivated Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with our sales and customer service teams to drive revenue growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences. This position reports directly to the Director of Sales.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Relationship Management
Proactively contact and follow up with prospective customers while nurturing relationships with existing accounts
Build trust and rapport through open, interactive communication that ensures customer needs are consistently met
Service assigned accounts by taking orders and providing comprehensive support
Sales & Business Development
Promote and sell our extensive range of sporting goods products
Identify and establish new business opportunities with prospective accounts
Analyze sales data for customers and products to identify opportunities and drive profitable results
Account Support & Problem Resolution
Collaborate directly with customers and sales representatives to process orders and resolve issues
Handle customer inquiries and challenges professionally, providing solutions within company guidelines
Partner with the Customer Service Supervisor and Sales Manager/Director to ensure timely and accurate issue resolution
Follow up on all customer concerns to guarantee complete resolution
Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or GED
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse personality types
Excellent work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with constant change
Strong multitasking abilities with proven capability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
Proficiency with systems and technology, with aptitude for learning new platforms
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and contribute creative ideas
Experience managing high volumes of incoming calls and emails
Skill in identifying and assessing customer needs
Preferred
3 years of sales experience
Demonstrated track record of successful sales performance
Experience in Distribution or Call Center applications / industry
Proven problem-solving abilities
