Seeking a qualified Teacher for the Visually Impaired to support students in a school setting in Orlando, FL. This full-time contract position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing specialized instruction to visually impaired learners. The assignment runs from ASAP through May 29, 2026, with a schedule of approximately 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored educational support and instruction to students with visual impairments
- Develop and implement individualized education plans in accordance with student needs and state guidelines
- Collaborate with educational teams, families, and support staff to enhance student learning outcomes
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress
- Comply with all district policies including required background screenings and credential verifications
Qualifications:
- Valid Florida Educator Certification with a Teacher for the Visually Impaired (TVI) endorsement
