Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide specialized Pre-K intake assessment services at an elementary school setting in San Mateo, CA. This on-site contract position runs through June 3, 2026, with a 40-hour workweek dedicated solely to early childhood speech-language evaluations.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive Pre-K intake assessments for incoming students.Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support early intervention planning.Maintain detailed and accurate records of assessments and progress.Communicate effectively with educators, families, and administrators regarding student needs.Qualifications and Desired Experience:Valid State Licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist from the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA).Clear or Professional Speech Services Credential from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC) is preferred but not mandatory.Prior experience in school-based SLP roles with a focus on early childhood is highly valued.Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and/or bilingual abilities is a strong plus.Certified Speech-Language Pathologists with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.Candidates completing Clinical Fellowships (CFs) will not be considered.Location:Position is based in San Mateo, CA, with on-site duties exclusively.
