Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting students with speech and language needs in a dynamic school-based setting. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals, delivering impactful services directly on site. You will play a vital role as a speech-language pathologist, serving students throughout the academic year from late July to late May.
Key Qualifications:
- Hold an active Georgia SLP License
- Georgia Professional Standards Commission (PSC) Certificate (must be obtained prior to start)
- ASHA CCC preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Prior school-based experience is valued
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a diverse caseload in an educational setting
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Work closely with teachers, support staff, and family members to facilitate student progress
- Complete required documentation and maintain accurate records
- Participate in meetings and contribute insights on student needs and progress
- Provide direct onsite therapy; all services must be delivered in person (no virtual/remote work)
