Key Qualifications:
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in a school-based setting, preferably with high school caseloads
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills for communication with students, staff, and families
- Ability to work independently—no supervision is available for CFY candidates
- Comfortable managing a caseload of around 60 students across various locations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations, develop IEPs, and implement individualized therapy plans
- Deliver direct, in-person therapy services tailored to support high school students’ communication needs
- Collaborate with the Coordinator of Evaluations as well as educators and families to facilitate student success
- Maintain detailed records and adhere to all district and regulatory guidelines
- Provide support and guidance to students, advocating for their communication needs within the school environment
