Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and provide speech and language therapy services to students
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals
- Support students with a range of communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and monitor student progress
- Provide strategies and support to enhance classroom communication success
Qualifications
- Valid Virginia Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License (Required)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and collaboration skills
- Passion for supporting diverse student populations
