Join an educational team in Machesney Park, IL, seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time contract position. This role serves two school buildings, focusing primarily on elementary and middle school students with a caseload of approximately 35. The position runs from ASAP through the end of the school year (EOSY) and potentially into the next school year (NSY) if there is no internal hire.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for speech and language disorders in students.
- Develop individualized intervention plans tailored to the needs of each student.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with school policies and state regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive educational environment.
Qualifications:
- Valid PEL and State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is mandatory, ensuring effective communication with a diverse student population.
- Experience working in school settings with elementary and middle school students.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
Schedule and Location:
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week.
- Work hours: either 7:15 AM to 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM.

- Note: This role does not involve virtual therapy (no TO VOCO); it replaces a current virtual SLP position.
